The last place I went to to refinish my ver1 into ver2-like as you've stated, was at [ www.wheeltechniques.com, ] local to me in Santa Clara, CA. Their work was decent, painted the spokes, while polishing the center and the lip (the lip being a pain due to its welded 2pc nature instead of unboltable 2/3pc) for about $1k? Turn around was quite a bit longer than I've expected though; but to be fair I did mention to them to take their time as I wasn't in a rush due to the z's down time. The next place will be where I bought the used SA3R's from in the first place, [ www.memoryfab.com, ] located in Union City CA. They now offer services for repairing, refinishing, as well as resizing of wheels by replacing/rewelding barrells. One of my lip is ripped from curbing and need replacing, so was going to widen the entire set while at it. Will keep you updated on the results? :) Will also ask if they'll be able to match the candy red on individual rims, or will the entire set needs to be refinished/powdercoated and such for you.
